Melvin Parnell is the creator and owner of Melvin's Ooh-Wee Seasoning - An enthusiastic and creative black man, born and raised in Dallas, TX. Coming from a family of cooks, seasoning was always important in food. Melvin grew up and then at the age of 30 years old he became a cook at the VA Hospital in Dallas, TX. Melvin frequently entertained and received many compliments from friends and coworkers on how good the food tasted. He had an idea and began bottling samples of his mixture of spices and gave them away for others to try.
Melvin was very fond of the veterans, but noticed they couldn't enjoy food because seasoning was too high in sodium and then Melvins Ooh~Wee was born. Word got out about Melvin’s Ooh-Wee flavorful taste and here we are - the seasoning that will make you say "oooweee"!
